Let's Net

Format
Duration: 5 weeks Blended / Category: Technical / Service Area: Internet Connectivity

The next Let's Net will be held in May 2025. Applications will open in January 2025.

Let's Net provides humanitarian ICT staff with the skills and tools to deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, operate and de-commission the ETC Rapid Response Data Solution in emergency and field operations as part of a team of ETC responders. During the course, participants will practice with the actual solution, using equipment provided by ETC partners emergency.lu and Ericsson Response.

Developed by WFP in cooperation with the Government of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg and Ericsson Response, the course is focused specifically on the ETC Rapid Response Data Solution.

Target Audience

The course is targeted at ICT responders from ETC partner organizations, who will be deployed in emergency operations with the ETC to deploy/operate data connectivity. Participants must be available for deployment in this type of role. Emergency experience is an advantage. A good technical background and current practical experience with data communications and IT are required to successfully complete the course.

Number of participants: 16

Objective
