ETC Coordinator Induction Programme
The coordination of ICT services and related activities is critical for effective humanitarian emergency response operations. Compliance with cluster lead agency processes within the emergency response context requires knowledge and skills to implement ways of working which are coherent with the wider organisational approach.
Target Audience
Humanitarian responders who have been selected into the ETC Coordinator pathway. Participants must be experienced professionals with a background operating in an emergency response environment. Prerequisites include successful completion of the ETC Operations course or a comparable level of experience in ETC operations.

Objective
To equip humanitarian ICT responders with the knowledge and skills to enable them to support active ETC operations in a trainee coordinator role.

Format and Language
This will be a distance learning programme with a mix of self-paced e-modules, live online task briefs and associated practical assignments to be submitted within set deadlines. The active learning time is assessed to be circa 4 hours per week but this is highly dependent upon individual learning pace. The induction programme and all associated materials will be delivered in English.
