Let's Comm Digital provides humanitarian ICT staff with the skills to deploy DMR Digital radio infrastructure.

The 2017 session of this training will take place at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) college in Revinge, Sweden, 12 - 16 June. 

How to apply: 

To apply for Let's Comm Digital, complete the application and submit the documentation indicated below via the online application form. Deadline for submitting applications is 28 February 2017.

Costs: 

Participant travel and incidental expenses for the training are to be covered by their respective organization. Accommodation and meals during the training course and all direct course costs (instructors, facilities, equipment etc.) are covered by the host organization.  

Selection Criteria:

Applications will be considered based on these criteria:

• Technical background, with reference to the prerequisites noted above.
• Manager's approval and Letter of Committment
• Availability for deployment in emergency response and humanitarian work.

Pre-course requirements: 

Completion of the Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) e-learning Track 1 module ERYTX0001 for WFP and DMR pre-course reading is required before participants' arrive at the course.  Details of the e-learning and pre-reading will be forwarded to selected participants by the Course Manager.
