A 2.5 day training course will be held at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks from 10-12 April 2017. The course will be comprised of classroom learning and practical exercises covering HF communications theory, antenna maintenance, voice protocols and a practical exercise with a written test for all trainees. A short module on satellite communications will also be delivered. The course participants will be made up of District Office staff from across the four divisions of Fiji.

The course is being run in joint collaboration with WFP, the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF), Fiji Navy, and the Fiji National Disaster Management Office (NDMO).
