As part of the future of security telecommunications project, the ETS hosted a Telecommunications Security Standards (TESS) mission to review the Emergency Communications Systems (ECS) in place in North-East Nigeria.
The ETS continues to provide vital communications services in 9x common operational areas across Borno and Yobe states to enable an efficient humanitarian response. Up until the end of November, over 2,400 humanitarians from more than 100 organisations have used the ETS Internet services deployed at the 8x humanitarian hubs, namely in Bama, Banki, Damasak, Dikwa, Gwoza, Maiduguri, Monguno and Ngala.
