Ukraine: Even in conflict, learning shouldn't stop

Even in times of war, the right to education must be protected. In Ukraine, where conflict has disrupted daily life for millions, the World Food Programme-led Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC) is stepping up to ensure that children can continue learning.

By equipping schools with essential ICT (Information and Communications Technology) tools, the ETC is helping restore a sense of normalcy and giving students a chance to stay connected to their education—no matter the challenges around them.

So far, the initiative has delivered equipment to:

  • ✅ 5 schools in Mykolaiv
  • ✅ 2 schools in Kharkiv
  • 🔜 2 more schools are set to receive support in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia

These tools are more than just hardware—they represent hope, stability, and the resilience of communities determined to invest in their children’s future.
