Strengthening Cybersecurity in Ukraine: ETC Marks Awareness Month
October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a timely reminder of the importance of digital vigilance across humanitarian operations. In Ukraine, the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster (ETC), with support from Cisco Crisis Response, is reinforcing its cybersecurity posture to protect responders, systems, and affected communities from evolving digital threats.
As humanitarian operations increasingly rely on digital infrastructure, ETC is working to ensure that connectivity is not only reliable but secure. This includes implementing protective measures, promoting best practices, and raising awareness among field teams and partners.
Cybersecurity is a shared responsibility. By fostering awareness and resilience, ETC is helping build a safer, more secure cyberspace for all those involved in the humanitarian response.
