LTC mobilises in Lebanon
Telecommunication networks across Lebanon are facing severe disruption as hostilities intensify, leaving connectivity increasingly fragile at a time when humanitarian operations depend on it most.
To support the response, the Logistics and Telecommunications Cluster (LTC) was activated on 16 March. A dedicated telecoms lead is now on the ground, coordinating the emergency telecommunications effort and working closely with government counterparts and partners. The priority is to restore and maintain reliable connectivity so that humanitarian teams can operate safely and effectively.
This joint effort between emergency telecommunications and logistics is helping ensure that responders can continue delivering critical assistance despite the challenges.
