With national telecommunications and power services largely restored in Jamaica, the ETS officially concluded its support to the Hurricane Melissa response on 22 December. During the operation, the team provided emergency connectivity across 65 facilities, ensuring responders could coordinate effectively throughout the crisis.

As the response winds down, the ETS is now turning its attention to strengthening preparedness and resilience in partnership with ODPEM, helping to reinforce national capacity for future emergencies.
