ETC 2025 Year in Review

In 2025, the ETC supported humanitarian operations across eight emergencies: Nigeria, Palestine, Ukraine, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Vanuatu, and Jamaica. Through coordination hubs and community access points, connectivity continued to strengthen information sharing, decision-making, and the delivery of assistance.

This year also marked important strategic progress. The ETC launched its first Social Return on Investment study to assess the socio‑economic value of preparedness and advanced its Connectivity as Aid initiative. Work is also underway to introduce the ETC Strategy 2030, which will guide the network’s future direction.

Capacity building remained a core focus, with four training courses delivered to 60 participants, two webinars reaching 307 attendees, and more than 1,100 learners engaging with content on the ETC channel.

With strong foundations in place, the ETC is preparing for an even more ambitious year ahead in 2026.
